Lisa and Tony's wedding

I photographed Lisa and Tony's wedding on a lucky date 7/7/07 at the Merion Tribute house
It was a beautiful day time wedding with lots of cute children running around everywhere. Lisa and Tony liked the Tribute house for it's outdoor ceremony site and it's gorgeous architecture and charm. Lisa is from Virginia and is a sweet "country" girl. She pulled up with her father to the ceremony in a horse and buggy and the music playing was "Wild Horses"
(I have been doing this more often as I get older,) but I started crying when she came up the aisle because everyone was and it was so touching. It's embarrassing when I do this but I don't think anyone noticed. (It's hard to take pictures looking through tears!)

Lisa's silhouette looked awesome in this dress and with this light!

I also had the honor to have Rebecca Barger as my second shooter. She worked for over 20 years with the Philadelphia Inquirer. So she got some true photojournalism for me! This is a shot she took of the little girls chasing me. She did a great job and had lots of good ideas.

Then this is from my perspective.

Lisa had a big surprise for Tony. She rented his favorite car, an old Chevrolet for them to ride to their honeymoon hotel in. He was so surprised, I love the look on his face and he just pointed like " What's that?!"

Jenny and Luca's wedding

Jenny and Luca got married at Bartram's Gardens on June 30th. Jenny is also a talented photographer, here's her website. This wedding was just my style, very laid back, a natural setting, and even a Quaker ceremony. Anyone was invited to get up and speak and their friends had lots of beautiful words to say about them. They are a very sweet couple! Bartram's gardens is a little oasis tucked away in south west Philly and it has one of the best views of the city sky line with a huge open wildflower field. Perfect for strolling shots at sunset! The food was incredible by Shackamaxon catering. Luca's family is from Italy so I had fun trying to practice my Italian from my college years. He translated all the toasts for them too. They left the reception in an old Ford that just went perfect with the setting. Click here to see more on my website from this wedding.
