My new website www.heatherfowlerphoto.com is up and running today! It showcases lots of new photos and has more info than my old site. There are lots of galleries to view so check it out! The new site is more personal and has a natural feel to it. My new logo also has some symbolism in it for me that you can read about on the site too.
So it's a new year and new beginnings. I have a lot to be thankful for from 2008 including lots of great clients and getting married myself. I have dreams and goals for 2009 for both my business and personal life. Some are: hopefully getting a new studio space so I can do more baby and maternity shoots, and explore some new shooting techniques. Shawn and I hope to find a building we can both work out of some day. I also look forward to continuing to teach in my community and have some new ideas for my students at Centro Nueva. I continue to value my relationships with other photographers and hope to learn and work with them all more this year. Last night I hooked up with some old friends and want to do more of that in the new year.
The most important goal is to stay close with my family and friends and nurture all the relationships I cherish. I also found out I have a new niece or nephew on the way! Last, but not least, we should all have hope for a better future and embrace all the changes that lie ahead with our new president.

Heather, you have so much to be proud of. Your work in 2008 was exquisite, and it's just amazing to watch you grow and get better and better. Be careful how much better you get though because I don't want Hollywood stealing you away from us. You're an amazing person with a beautiful talent. I wish you all the best in 2009!
Sandy, Tamara's mother, thanks Heather for capturing my daughter's wedding day with so many magnificant and ingenious pictures. Your creativity is astounding and so many people I have shared my daughter's album with are amazed with the different ways you photographed all of the special moments. You made a pictorial of the most important day of my daughter's life a treasure to share for generations to come. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us. We were very fortunate when Tamara found you.
Best wishes to you also on your marriage and may you have a lifetime of happiness.
