Katelyn and Kevin's Knowlton wedding

Katelyn and Kevin got married at Old St. Josephs in old city and had their reception at Knowlton Mansion. This wedding had beautiful details with great fall colors! Jaime from Simply Wed Events kept the day together and organized.

Dave and Melanie's love letter mural shoot

This photo session was done along Market St. next to many of the Love Letter murals. This is a project by Stephen Powers with the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and runs along the Market Frankford EL. Recently, a proposal on utube has made these murals famous. But before that Dave and Melanie had a love and admiration for the old style lettering and concept. We had been planning this photo session since they got married a year ago. These two eloped and never had any professional wedding portraits done. So I offered to do a fun session and Melanie's mom got to sewing her beautiful gown. I matched some of the color tones of these photos to go with the old school lettering and used a vintage plastic camera with film for some. Dave is my husband's cousin so Shawn came out to assist with driving, lighting, and keeping the drinks flowing for these two! We had a blast. Dave and Melanie said having this session by the murals has been a wedding photo dream come true. I love my job.
