Lena and John's wedding

Lena and John got married at St. Stephen's Orthodox Cathedral and had the reception at the Philadelphia Cricket Club on September 5, 2009. I just loved Lena's veil! It was so much fun photographing her in it with the beautiful flower accent. As you scroll through these images you will see a theme, it's Penn State! They basically had a Penn State themed wedding with blue and white colors, pom poms, and even the mascot lion appeared at the reception. The dance floor was packed through out the night and everyone wanted a photo with the lion so I was on my toes all night long. I know for sure Lena and John had the time of their lives at the reception! Thanks to Joy Moody for being my second shooter! She did a fabulous job as usual.






Getting ready with Lena' parents was very emotional as she is an only child.


Love this shot with the family dog! He was really hard to photograph! He is terrified of all cameras even when I put a treat on top of it. I finally got a few great shots. I just love his chocolate spots.

Anna and Michael's wedding

Anna and Michael got married on August 29th at Our Mother of Good Council and had the reception at the Rivercrest Golf Club. Anna was a great photo subject she has such beautiful eyes and a great style. Mike is SUPER tall and really easy going. The families were so excited and I loved all the kiddies running around. Despite the heat we got some amazing shots outside the golf club grounds. Thanks to Laurie Beck Peterson for 2nd shooting for me and getting lots of beautiful shots!

I was too busy shooting the bridesmaids to realized this was going on behind me! Thanks to Laurie for getting such a funny shot! I think the guys were thrilled to take off their jackets!




This little guy refused to cooperate in a group photo. I like this one better anyway.








Mike is a huge Michael Jackson fan and had some awesome moves!

Gretchen and Lan's wedding

My dog Blue has proven himself worthy! He was a salesman for me when I met Gretchen and Lan. They are fellow American Bulldog lovers and have one too named Pepper. Lan told me when he met my dog Blue that sealed the deal. He said anyone that is a bulldog lover is a good person. (I guess because you need a lot of love to put up with all the drooling, snorting, farting, and general bullyness.) Here's a photo of the couple with Pepper the bulldog that was taken during their engagement session. She is both sweet and goofey and loves to sit on her parent's laps. Now on the the wedding.... Gretchen and Lan got married on August 15th at Old St. Joseph's church in Old City and had the reception at Ballroom at the Ben. I just loved Gretchen's dress and the bridesmaid's shoes were soooo much fun! I loved all the vibrant, rich colors they picked out. Gretchen gave Lan bulldog cuff links, so appropriate!

This is such a sweet bouquet for a little girl and such a cute orange dress.




The table numbers were all photos of Pepper with a sign around her neck. Such a great idea to incorporate their dog into the wedding. I wish I had thought of that at my own!
