Nicholas and Alyssa's engagement session

I photographed this beautiful engagement session at Bryn Mawr college. Alyssa and Nicholas are getting married in September at Knowlton Mansion. It was so hard to pick some favorites from this session I loved them all! Alyssa went to Bryn Mawr college which is so rich with history, amazing architecture and photo opts! Alyssa is also very creative and brought lots of ideas and props to the session.

R.I.P. Jody

Rest in Peace Jody

Jody was my first baby. 13 years ago got her as a puppy and brought her to our first new home. The end of an era for us. She encouraged us to explore places and enjoy nature the way a dog does. We went on doggie vacations to Vermont, the poconos, and Rehobeth just for the dogs. She was a great swimmer and obsessed with the water. Jody taught me to get out there and run as she was my jogging buddy for years. Jody was very loyal and I was her human. She cuddled like no other dog and she would put her whole 70 pound body on my lap whenever she could. Her beautiful brindle colors were always an inspiration to photograph. I don't need to go into why I had to let her go but let's just say- you take the good with the bad. I'll miss you baby girl.

 

newborn Ellie

This newborn portrait session for little Ellie was so sweet. Her daddy was able to comfort her when she was moved around for different photos. I love the one with her parent's hands trying to ease her back to sleep. These sessions are sometimes hard but so worth the time and energy to capture this phase in life!

Cordelia's 6 month portrait

Sweet Cordelia was in for her 6 month portrait session as part of my 1 year baby plan. Such a cutie. Loved the fur vest and purple outfit!

baby Jacob's 6 month session

Baby Jacob's 6 month photo session was perfect! This was a special shoot because it was for my graphic designer Jessica Selig. Lots of great outfit changes and this fun cowboy theme was a blast. The saddle belonged to my mom as a kid and Jessica brought the cowboy outfit. I just love it. Jacob is such an adorable happy boy and never cried the whole 2 hours! I just want to squeeze him up!

Brian and Fred's engagement session

My friend's Brian and Fred are getting married in October at the Downtown club. I feel privileged they asked me to photograph it. Their engagement session was fun going all over the city. The affection between them is so clear. So happy they are tying the knot! Their party will be a blast!
