Maria and Jason's backyard wedding

Maria and Jason got married on May 23, 2015 in his parent's backyard. My favorite kind of wedding because it was so intimate and laid back. The yard was transformed into a garden oasis full of flowers for a beautiful backdrop. I love Maria's simple dress and the color of the handmade shawl her mom made. After some portraits and cake we were off to Old City for some classic photos. Then dinner downtown with the family. It was a perfect day!

Kaitlyn and Daniel's Knowlton mansion wedding

Kaitlyn and Daniel got married at Knowlton Mansion on May 2, 2015. They have an appreciation for the old ways and antique decor which made Knowlton the perfect place for them. They got married in the wine cellar. At first I thought as a photographer "Oh no it will be so dark and hard to photograph!" When actually it was a great challenge for me and ended up being beautiful, romantic and dramatic. I loved the vantage point from up above and all the guests and candles cascading down the steps.

Cordelia age 2

Spring has sprung! So has portrait season. Had a great morning with little Cordelia. She just turned 2 years old and I have been photographing her since birth. So fun to watch them grow up! She had lots of fun and candy from " Aunt Heather" at Franklin Square.
