Penne the dog

Penne the dog came in the studio last week for a portrait shoot. She is so well behaved and has an eloquent demeanor. She fit perfect in my antique chair.

Nikki the cocker spaniel

I photographed a photographer friend, Chris Huston and his dog Nikki. Why do photographers get a professional photo shoot of their dog? To get in the photos too! Chris contacted me after finding out about the new studio to have some nice portraits done with his best friend. Nikki was so sweet and well behaved to photograph. Daddy trained her well! She spends the day with him in his studio just like my dog does. It's great to have a job where you can bring your dog to work! We are so lucky.




She has such soulful brown eyes.

Best of 2009

Happy New Year!
I love reflecting back this time of year. It's been a good year! I have had some really amazing wedding clients and got to work at lots of new places. I opened a new studio and started doing in studio portraits of dogs and babies in Liberties Walk. I am so excited to be a part of that community love the new space. I also have made some great new friends in the wedding and photography industry that I hope will flourish into 2010.
On a personal note I started last year as a newlywed my self and had some great vacations with my husband Shawn and dogs, Jody and Blue. We made some accomplishments on our house like a new paint job. I also have a new nephew Liam.

Dot the chihuahua

I photographed Dot the chihuahua yesterday and could not stop laughing! This dog is the funniest little girl! She is 11 years old and a very important to her family. I just love her outfit and the tongue!

Julie and Eric's Knowlton Mansion wedding

I photographed Julie and Eric's wedding on November 28th at the beautiful Knowlton Mansion. I loved Julie's vintage look with her hairdo, a necklace that ran down her back, and the lacy dress. She has a really classy look.












Winter weddings can be hard with daylight savings time but we got some gorgeous sunset and moody evenings shots.










After Julie and Eric walked down the aisle these moments happened and these photos stuck out at me, each kissing one another hands, so sweet.



The wine cellar at Knowlton is one of my favorite spots to photograph.




This was a guest sign in tree. Each leaf is from the guests thumbs dipped into ink. What a cool idea, just love it!



Eric kept us all laughing with his sense of humor. He is hysterical!
