maternity shoot with French bulldog

I had such a fun maternity shoot with Jen and her French bulldog! I just love frenchies and he was such a good boy. What a great way to document life before baby by bringing along the dog!

Ernie and Penny's dog portraits in studio

Ernie and Penny the dogs are roommates so they had their portrait sessions done together. They both are so perfectly behaved for treats!

Angus the Yorkshire Terrier

Angus came to the studio for his photo shoot last week. I just love the way his one ear sticks up!

Dexter the dog and Eric the realtor

Eric saw my store in Liberties Walk at Schmidt's and had a portrait done with his awesome dog, Dexter. Dexter knows lots of tricks and listens well to his daddy. Eric is also an up and coming realtor in Northern Liberties so I did some promo shots for him too.

dog needs home

I photographed cute Ginger the other day with the new backdrop and fuzzy rug. Lindsay at the Chic Boutique is fostering her. She is a really sweet Bully breed in need of a home. You can email Lindsay directly if interested at lindsay@thechicpetique.com

Sam the Brittany dog

Sam is such a good boy! He was probably the most perfectly behaved dog I have photographed yet. He loved the treats I gave him so that probably helped and he listened to his daddy so well. It was so funny how he interacted with me too and made such great eye contact.

Sam's dad (Darryl) did not want to get in any photos but I managed to get him in a few and Sam just got sooo excited when he sat on the floor with him and got so lovey dovey!

Did I mention Sam loves my dog treats!?

Harley and Duke the dogs

I am so excited for these bulldog photos! Harley the bulldog puppy is like the cutest little old man. He snorts and grunts and has a mind of his own. I just want to squish him up! Duke, his friend the cocker Spaniel came in at the same time for a studio shoot (even though Harley beats up on Duke already!) This family was so much fun. You guessed it, his dad rides a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He'll have to bring the motorcycle for a shot when Harley is all grown up.

I though Harley was just hiding but I caught him being bad chewing!

Dana and Ken's engagement session

Dana and Ken live around the corner from my new studio in Liberties Walk. Their session was a combination of engagement photos and doggie portraits of their cute poodle Roxy. I had a blast with them because they wanted photos that represented their neighborhood and their lives here in Northern Liberties. We started out with some portraits in the studio, then headed over to the Orianna hill dog park, then the alley by their apartment full of colorful graffiti, then to the Piazza at Schmidts, and by some murals and the church across the street.
