Clare's belly and doggie photos

I photographed Clare and Sean's wedding back in 2008. They are now expecting their first child. I knew Clare would be adorable pregnant and really enjoyed photographing her maternity shoot. They also brought their first fur baby who was so well behaved in the studio and I am just in love with the photo of the dog up on Clare's belly!

Marjorie's maternity session

I photographed Marjorie last week in my new studio space. She was 35 weeks pregnant and beautiful. Marjorie had her hair and makeup done at a salon, it's important to feel pretty for this kind of shoot. Comfort and trust are something I try to achieve with my maternity clients. I like this first one where she looks like a mermaid.

Amy's maternity photos

I took Amy's maternity photos in the new studio. The light was fantastic. She brought this little Hope statue as a prop which just glistened and added such a sweet element to her photos.











Thanks to Amy and Ed for being adventuresome and walking over to the abandoned church on my block. It has some great architecture and an old playground. I love photographing over there, feels like my own little secret garden.
