Adams family portraits

I photographed the Adams family at Pastorious park. We went there because they wanted to involve the family dog too! I just love it when a family brings along the dog.

My dog Blue- R.I.P

I had to put my dog Blue down to sleep last week. It was the saddest day we have experienced in a long time for my husband and I. Blue was part of the family. If you knew Blue he was a comical dog, sort of like a clown. His bully face had so many funny expressions that he became a big photo subject for me in his years with us. After sorting though my old hard drives and finding these photos I realized today what a great life he had with us and was very lucky to be taken on so many doggie vacations. We were lucky to know him too. Blue taught me not to be too serious, that laughter and joy are the best remedy for anything.
( warning: If you are a big dog lover be prepared to cry before watching this slide show- my tribute to Blue.)

Clare's belly and doggie photos

I photographed Clare and Sean's wedding back in 2008. They are now expecting their first child. I knew Clare would be adorable pregnant and really enjoyed photographing her maternity shoot. They also brought their first fur baby who was so well behaved in the studio and I am just in love with the photo of the dog up on Clare's belly!

Jennifer and Paul's engagement doggie session

Jennifer and Paul involved their dog Arthur for their engagement shoot at the art museum. I just love shooting couples with their dogs. You can see how important the dog is to their relationship. Dogs keep us laughing and help to see the joy in one anothers eyes. They are getting married on September 24th at Tendenza.

Arthur does a very special trick. I could put this treat on his paw and tell him to wait. Such a good boy!

Croissant the french bulldog

Croissant the bulldog is awesome! She is such a goofball. Her mom calls her a clown. She won a gift certificate for a doggie studio session. I love the huge yawns and head tilts!

Jack and Iggy's dog portrait session

I photographed Jack and Iggy in the studio for their Christmas card. I love the shot when the doberman reached down to give a kiss to his brother.
